UCLA Institutes offer 9 undergraduate programs in which students focus on interdisciplinary studies. In these programs, capstone requirements that challenge students’ abilities to integrate materials at an advanced undergraduate level are relatively common. Typically, these capstone experiences occur in a senior seminar or as part of a research experience.
